Shopify store management

Someone to actually run your Shopify store

E-Store Manager runs Shopify stores for small businesses that have nobody looking after them. We keep product information accurate, fix what breaks, keep the store visible on Google, and keep customer emails running. Available monthly, or as a one-off fixed fee. Canada and the United States, remotely.

This is for you if

You own a Shopify store, you are the only person who could possibly maintain it, and you have not had time to open the admin in months.

Signs you need it

  • You cannot remember the last time anyone updated a product page
  • Prices on the site no longer match what you actually charge
  • You are paying for Shopify apps you are not sure you still use
  • Someone emailed to say a link was broken and you have not fixed it
  • Your last email campaign went out over a year ago
  • You know the store is losing you money and you cannot face it

Not for you if

If you already have a full-time ecommerce manager and you want campaign strategy and creative, you want an agency, not us.

Store Care: $249 per month

Why this matters more than it sounds

Most small stores do not fail dramatically. They decay. A price changes and the site keeps the old one. A supplier discontinues something and it stays listed. An app updates and quietly breaks a template. Six months later the store is still technically working, still taking the occasional order, and steadily losing the ones it should have won.

This happens because store maintenance is nobody's job. It is too technical for the person who runs the shop and too small to justify hiring anyone. So it waits, and the cost of waiting never appears on any invoice.

What we do is take that job. Every month we go through the store, fix what is wrong, update what is stale, and tell you what we found in a paragraph you can read in thirty seconds. Not a strategy deck, not a growth plan, not a rebrand. The unglamorous work of keeping a shop tidy, done consistently, by someone who knows Shopify well enough to do it quickly.

The economics only work because we do this across many stores. An hour of a Shopify specialist's attention is expensive to buy on its own and cheap to buy in a batch, which is why a plan starts at less than a tenth of the cost of employing someone.

You keep control throughout. We work through Shopify's own collaborator system, so you never hand over your account password, you can see exactly what we did, and you can revoke our access yourself at any time. There is no contract, no notice period, and no setup fee. If a month goes by and you cannot see what you paid for, cancel. That is the whole reason there is nothing to cancel out of.

Questions

What people ask about shopify store management.

How much does Shopify store management cost?

Ours starts at $249 a month for a monthly check plus two hours of fixes, and $499 a month for ongoing upkeep with catalogue work and email included. A full operational team is $1,499 a month. If you would rather not commit to anything monthly, a one-off Store Rescue is a fixed $499. Prices are in USD and CAD invoicing is available.

Do I need to give you my Shopify password?

No, and you should not give it to anyone. We request access through Shopify's own collaborator system, which gives us a separate account with only the permissions you grant, a full log of what we did, and a revoke button you control.

What is the smallest store you will work with?

There is no minimum. Plenty of the stores we look after do under $5,000 a month. What matters is whether the store is worth maintaining at all, if you have almost no traffic, tidying product pages will not fix that, and we will tell you so rather than sell you a plan.

Can you just do one thing rather than a whole plan?

Yes. One-off work is $100 an hour with no commitment, and cheaper in a block of hours. If you want one specific problem solved and then to be left alone, say so and that is what will happen.

How quickly can you start?

A one-off fix usually starts within a few days of getting access. A monthly plan takes about two weeks to set up properly, because the first pass through a neglected store is the longest one and we would rather do it thoroughly than bill you for a rushed version.
